For a standard bath, around ½-1 cup (approx 100g-250g) of Westlab Epsom Salt should be dissolved into bath water of temperature 37-39°C. Soak in the bath for around 20 minutes, once or twice per week. Pat the skin dry with a towel.
For a footbath, add ½-2 cups (approx 100g-500g) of the salts to 5 litres of warm water and dissolve. Relax and soak the feet for 20 minutes. If required, add more warm water to the tub. Rinse off and pat dry afterwards.
For bee stings, mosquito bites, mild sunburn, and other summer ailments, soak a cotton washcloth in cold water that has been mixed with 2 tablespoons per cup of Epsom Salts. Then apply as a compress to the skin.
You can even use these salts as an exfoliant by massaging them over wet skin after your bath or shower.
