Description

Freederm Facial Cleanser is produced in the UK and is part of a range of over-the-counter products that help prevent and treat acne.

This facial cleanser is designed as the first step in the skincare routines of people with problem skin: to clean the pores of excess oil, dirt, dead skin cells, and other impurities, and stop them from becoming clogged. It then works to prevent spot-causing bacteria from forming.

Despite a deep cleansing action, it is gentle on the skin and can be used even on sensitive skin types. This is because it steers clear of many of the chemical irritants and sensitisers that are often included in standard skincare products sold in the UK.

These artificial chemicals include parabens, fragrances, soaps, and colorants that can either dry out skin or further irritate it, often worsening skin conditions like acne.

Instead, this cleanser contains gentle cleansing and antibacterial agents that are able to fight the bacteria that cause spots.

It can be used as a non-ionic soap substitute, as part of the daily skincare routine. Other treatments may be used in combination with the cleanser, as directed by your doctor.

Freederm Facial Cleanser helps prevent blackheads and other spots from forming on acne-prone skin, and leaves the skin feeling soft, healthier, and clearer. It can help remove make-up, as well as acting as an all-purpose daily cleanser.

Directions

The cleanser is best used twice per day, in the morning and before going to bed. It is designed to replace standard soaps and shower gels, as the first step in your skincare routine. Use it before applying other skin treatments and moisturisers.

Firstly, apply a little of the cleanser to the face and neck area using your fingertips. Gently massage it into the skin using light, circular motions of the hands.

Then, once cleansed, rinse it off with warm water and pat the face and neck area dry with a soft towel.

If there is make-up residue or excess cleanser left behind, you might like to use cotton pads to remove it.

Precautions

When using Freederm Facial Cleanser take care to avoid contact with the eyes. Close the eyes when cleansing around that area and, if any should enter, flush it out with clean, warm water. If there is persistent irritation, seek medical advice.

The cleanser is for external use only and should be kept away from children at all times. In the event of accidental swallowing and feeling unwell, get urgent medical attention but do not attempt to induce vomiting.

This product contains the antiseptic chlorhexidine. If you are hypersensitive to this or any of the other ingredients, do not use this cleanser.

In the event of a rash, swelling of the mouth or face, difficulty breathing, or other major reaction, it may indicate a serious allergic reaction. Cease use and find immediate medical help.

Side Effects

Freederm Facial Cleanser has no associated side effects other than those described when there is an allergic reaction. There are no associated interactions with other medicines.
