Aquamax Wash is an aqueous cream cleanser from the same range of Aquamax products as the Aquamax moisturising cream, designed to relieve the symptoms associated with psoriasis, eczema, and other dry skin conditions.

It contains essentially the same ingredients as the cream. This means it avoids many of the commonly used irritants and allergens typically found in most commercial cleansers, shower gels, and soaps. These can be harmful to people with dry skin conditions, often causing further itching and dryness or even triggering eczema.

Aquamax Wash is SLS-free, fragrance-free, and lanolin-free. It has been specially formulated to cleanse and moisturise with a gentle action on sensitive skin and is hypoallergenic. This means it can be used for babies and the elderly, as well as other adults.

It is non-foaming and should be used as part of your standard wash routine, to help rehydrate the skin and leave it feeling less rough, less scaly, and less itchy.

It can be used in conjunction with other emollients and prescribed treatments for dry skin conditions.

Aquamax Wash can be applied daily as needed, on dry or wet skin. Use it as you would use a liquid soap or gel – in the shower, bath, or while washing at the sink.

Simply rinse off and pat dry with a soft towel after you have cleansed. Avoid rubbing, as this will remove some of its emollient effect, which you should still feel on your skin after drying.

While Aquamax Wash is safe for children to use, it must always be under supervision. Keep it away from their reach.

Use this wash externally and, if accidentally ingested, seek medical attention. Avoid contact with the eyes when applying on the face.

Take extra care when leaving the shower or bath, as this product may make surfaces more slippery than usual.

If you are allergic to liquid paraffin or white soft paraffin, avoid this product; and if you develop an unexpected skin reaction, stop using immediately and check with your doctor or pharmacist. This product is considered safe for pregnant or nursing women to use.
