The acid mantle is a very fine layer on the skin surface, combining sebum (fatty acids) with lactic and amino acids. In normal, healthy skin it helps to maintain a stable pH of around 5.5, preventing bacteria from penetrating the skin and causing infection.
Sebamed Anti Dandruff Shampoo supports and protects this layer of the scalp, helping to reduce irritation and dandruff, and stabilising general hair structure and health.
Being soap-free and alkali-free means that this shampoo is less likely to irritate sensitive scalps and the inclusion of piroctone olamine helps to remove dandruff gently. Other moisturising and conditioning agents also help the scalp to feel healthier and the hair to look shinier.

Use Sebamed Anti Dandruff Shampoo as you would use a regular shampoo. Firstly, wet your hair and then pour a little of the shampoo into the palm of the hands. Work it into a lather and then apply to the hair, massaging it into the scalp. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary.
Sebamed Anti Dandruff Shampoo, like all shampoos, should only be used externally and care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes. Store it well out of the sight and reach of children.
If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, find an alternative shampoo. In the case of an unexpected skin reaction, stop using the shampoo and speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
